Letter from Robert Owen to James Rigby

Access Information

Manuscript letter informing Rigby that a lady he met in Paris has written to him. Owen describes her as a liberal who was obnoxious to Louis Philip’s government but who were friendly to my views. He asks Rigby to take her a set of his New Existence and to visit her. He also asks him to ask Dr Travis to visit her and also to show Travis the letter from Lord Goderich. He also requires Rigby to take a set of his works to Baron Joseph Corvoja.
