Scope and Content

Correspondence and papers relating to student protests and campaigns for increased involvement in academic affairs. These include a memorandum from Professor Beresford Dew to Bowden in June 1968 referring to the request from the Union President for more discussion with the Institute about matters and decisions affecting students and a letter from the Union President and Academic Vice President requesting the rejection of a report of the Senate Working Party on Assessment. The papers include a notice about a day of action in February 1976 forming part of a campaign to abolish additional fees for overseas students.
