The document was written on parchment by the notary Michael Firmin and it is bearing his authentification mark. It is written in a bastard hand, mixing cursive and secretary elements. The first letter is slightly ornamented.
Instrument of sasine of half an acre of land in the Milnhill and of an annual rent of 16 shillings out of a tenement belonging to John Reid, Chancellor of the Metropolitan of Aberdeen, disponed by said John Reid to the vicars of the choir for an obit.
