The document was written on parchment by the notary Henry Michael and it is bearing his authentification mark. It is written in a neat, formal cursive hand. The first letter is ornamented and the first words are in bookhand.
Instrument of sasine of an annual rent of 10 shillings out of a tenement in the Rottenrow disponed by Sir John Newton vicar of the choir of Glasgow to William Semple canon of Glasgow and George Hugonis burgess, executors of Thomas Cameron, rector of the prebend church of Govan, who subsequently disponed the tenement to the vicars of the choir for an obit.

Semple Cannon of Glasgow and George Hugonis burges of Glasgow Executors of Mr. Thomas Cameron rector of the prebend kirk of Govan and by the saids Executors Disponed to the viccars of the Queer for ane obit etc. dated 22 Dec. 1455'.
