LETTER: Thos. Edwards, London to Rev. James Williams, Llanfairynghornwy enclosing a statement re. a shipwreck near Liverpool that resulted in the loss of the whole crew of the Athabaska bound for Quebec. Had the Liverpool authorities amalgamated with them as suggested so great a calamity might not have happened. He wonders how it was that their lifeboats could not reach the vessel. He enquires if their lifeboats were used to save two vessels wrecked off Beaumaris in the same gale.
