LETTER: David Pugh and Watkin Williams to [?] The sloop Providence of Barmouth came fast with a steamer near the Skerries light. David Mathew got onto the steamer. Captain Watkin Williams and David Pugh got the vessel to Cemaes Bay, but struck a rock called Maen Dybri and the vessel sank. The Captain swam ashore but the boy had latter to be rescued from a rock [by D.P and W.W.].
