LETTER: W. Owen, Holyhead to Rev. James Williams giving a detailed account of the occurrence of the saving of the crew of the American ship Plutarch, wrecked on the south east side of Holyhead bay on 10th inst. He describes the launching of the lifeboat and the process of reaching the crew of the ship. 3 of the men refused to go out a second time. All the other men acted courageously and deserve rewards. He comments on the behaviour of the lifeboat in the sea.
