Letter: Thomas Edwards, London to Rev James Williams

Scope and Content

LETTER: Thomas Edwards, London to Rev James Williams at B.L.Watson esq., Telegraph Office, Liverpool. He has sent him a packet containing 10 reports and a gold medal each for himself and Captain Owen. He will withhold the silver medal for Richard Morris until he hears from him on the subject. He thinks that a statement of the facts of the two cases inserted in the Liverpool papers would do good. They have in the last 10 years been subjected to considerable expenses for serving the lives of seamen going to and from Liverpool.
