Letter: Thomas Edwards, London to Revd. J. Williams

Scope and Content

LETTER: Thomas Edwards, London to Revd. J. Williams concerning a medal for Richard Morris, and giving him the names of the persons who went into the lifeboat in the case of the Plutarch. The committee do not think is advisable to apply to the Board of Ordnance re. Dennett's rocket apparatus. The Mayor of Liverpool has written to say that the Corporation has ordered £50 to be paid in aid of the funds of the institution. He thinks they might have extended their grant to £100 as he is sure they have spent £500 in the service of ships to and from Liverpool.
