In this letter JB was making arrangements for the Annual Meeting of the LNA which met on 22 Oct 1873 at Temple Row, Birmingham. [Rough Record 255]. At the meeting, speeches were made by JB, Mrs Tanner, Miss Tod, Mrs Wilson, Mrs Heritage, Mrs Richardson, Mrs McLaren and others (Reported in the 'Shield' 8 Nov 1873 p 363). Helen Clark was the wife of William Clark of Street and daughter of John Bright and Elizabeth Priestman
