Josephine Butler to 'Dear Friends' [the Priestmans]

Scope and Content

Written from Liverpool. As to whether they could give her son Charlie, a bed on the Monday night, as he has to sit the entrance exam for Clifton College on the Tuesday, the day before the School begins. As they know, Charlie has always been delicate, but they are hoping that the climate of Clifton may suit him as Liverpool does not.
