'The women's meeting, Monday 15th Nov'

This was a meeting of the women of Sheffield held under the auspices of the Northern Counties League held on the afternoon of 15 Nov. It was addressed by JB. Such crowds arrived that two overflow meetings had to be arranged to accommodate everyone. (The 'Shield' 1 Dec 1875 p 297)
