Remarks and suggestions to the agenda for the Conference of Delegates of Repeal Association

1 That memorials rather than petitions are best suited to the Northern Counties League

2 That it would be unwise and impolitic to discourage the Working Men's Association, a movement so decidedly spontaneous

3 Electoral action - agrees with the soundness of the plan we have pursued

4 No need for any new machinery for influencing elections

5 Looks to the working classes to bring home this question to the electors

6 Believes the attendance of foreign deputies would be productive
