Letter from D. Nevill [Dorothy Nevill] to George Maw

Scope and Content

Written from Dangstein, Petersfield. Manuscript

They have not heard from each other in a while; she hopes he is well; their garden is doing well, but it has been a sad year for outdoor plants; the edelweiss has not done well; she writes to ask if he makes door plates and knobs at his manufactory; she would like to paint some 'in ware or china' of a buff colour; as she cannot get Mr Binns of Worcester to make them she thought that Maw may be able to; they hope to go to Brussels [Belgium], Tours [France] and Paris [France] for three weeks on the 23rd and she hopes to like it very much. Dated 11th [1877 added in a different hand]
