Scope and Content

1. Fol. 1r-84v: Bowyer, Orlando. Exercises. Latin. Single 18th c. hand in black ink. Written in single column or long lines with between 13 and 25 lines to a page. The earlier leaves (to fol. 16) have lines ruled in pencil; left hand margin ruled in black ink throughout, as are the divisional rules. Text on rectos only, except for contents, some corrections, and at fol. 75v. Associated with most captions is the text 'Lyne', a name? Occasionally another name takes its place as indicated below.
