Research notebook compiled by Robert Barnes relating to the laceration and rupture of the vagina and uterus during birth, including letters, newspaper clippings, case notes, and notes taken from the cases and lectures of other medical men (1753-1894). Other topics include laceration of the perineum during birth, prolapse, and injury from forceps.
