Research notebook compiled by Robert Barnes pertaining to puerperal fever and containing journal articles, drawings, and notes on the work and cases of other medical men (1845-1884). Topics include inflammation, obstruction of the veins, heart and lung problems, pycemia, pulse and temperature during pregnancy, placental disorders, and typhoid fever.
