Scope and Content

By Gustav Holst, 1920-1922. Opera in one act. The ballet with which the opera begins was written in 1918.

Note on the folio bag in Imogen Holst's hand states '2nd page of Dance often speaks of water for exhibition.'

3. Notes in Imogen Holst's and Rosamuns Strode's hands regarding the movements of various pages of sketches for exhibitions and loans, including for the Aldeburgh Festival. ([?]1980s)

4. Original envelope in which the sketches were strored, labelled in Gustav Holst's hand 'First music sketch, 1920 (with 1921 corrections on larger paper)
