This series includes correspondence written by Gustav Holst to various correspondents, correspondence written to Gustav Holst from various correspondents, and also some additional letters between third parties. The correspondence covers a variety of topics, including Gustav Holst's travels abroad, his service with the Young Men's Christian Association during the First World War, his compositions and performances of his works, his educational work and jobs, preparations for specific events including festivals and concerts, and also general matters of his personal life, schedules and day to day business.
