She has had to put off Mr Stuart who proposed coming that day, but she is not yet recovered from her fall [see letter of Sep 30]. The fact of the report of the Jubilee Conference (Sep at Neuchatel) has been unfortunate for her as it is bringing her hosts of letters, and she has no Secretary. Has been a bit upset by a letter from Mr Stuart from Neuchatel. She is not 'sure that the 'Don' brought to me will be over £50. That hardly amounts to a Pension.' Asks her to send on all to Mrs Terrell.
