Scope and Content

Written from [Wooler, Northumberland]

To say she is sending him the letter she has written to Mr Levy, as he is a member of the 'Personal Rights Association'. And will he please read it and send it on. In ' The Individualist' the monthly organ of the Association, a quotation from the Lancet about the organisation which exists in Japan for the prevention and treatment of venereal disease was given, with the comment 'We have read with great regret'. JB was sorry to see that the Lancet slander had been sent by Mr Levy to M. Minod, and that he had thought it his duty to publish it in the Bulletin with some comment.
