Client: Sir Robert McAlpine and Sons Ltd, Engineering Contractors.

Relating to the proposal by the North of Scotland Hydro-Electric Board to construct a power station at Stake Ness, near Whitehills, Banffshire (Aberdeenshire). George Wimpey and Co. conducted the initial site investigations under the direction of the consulting engineers, James Williamson and Partners. Rowe provided advice on the foundations as part of the tender by The Nuclear Power Group.
