Comprises of the minutes of meetings of the AA Council, 21 March 1949 - 23 May 1955. Also includes: Report of the Development Sub-Committee, July 1949, report of discussions between representatives of the Ministry of Education and the AA, dated 24 May 1949, and a graph illustrating problems of a contracting school, all inserted within the minutes of the AA Council meeting of 21 July 1949; Correspondence and statements, dating from 19-30 July, 1950, relating to the resignation of David Goddard, inserted following the minutes of the AA Council meeting of 1 August 1950; Report of the Estates and Finance Committee, dated 27 April 1953, inserted within the minutes of the AA Council meeting of that date.
