Autograph letter to Hugo asking him when he may call on him at Place Royale to discuss a matter which concerns Hugo.

Hugo mentions this meeting in Choses Vues (10 December 1847).

Barthélemy was a French satirical and political poet. He is known for his collaboration with Joseph Méry (1798-1866), with whom he wrote many pamphlets against the governments of the Restauration and the July Monarchy.
