Autograph letter to Hugo thanking him for his letter and reporting that the King will be pleased to accept Hugo's tribute to him, which will be conveyed through the Swedish Ambassador to France. He congratulates Hugo on the award's to him of Sweden's highest literary honour - the Polar Star - and thanks him also for his verses for his wife's 'album'.
