Copy letter from Hoxton, London, to [the directors of the London Missionary Society], reporting on the state of the missions in the West Indies. The report includes detailed statistics on the numbers of converts on each of the English islands, and on the recent work and movements of the missionaries Alexander, McDonnel, Fish and McVean. Mention is also made of the work of Stephen Cooke, merchant of Kingston, Jamaica. Coke asks that plans for expanding the mission should be postponed until the next Conference, for fear of sending 'Calvinist' inclined ministers.
