Unfinished copy letter to the Methodists of Great Britain and Ireland, re the divisions that had arisen as a result of the constitution and government of the Society, as defined by John Wesley in a deed of 1784. Coke describes the background to the document's creation, and his intention of distributing copies of it as part of a `plan of reconciliation'.
