Administrative / Biographical History
During the nineteenth century, the AA's financial matters were the responsibility of the Committee and the Honorary Treasurer. A sub committee to deal with finance was first established in 1901, presumably due to the increased complexity and responsibilities incurred by the opening of the AA's Day School.
