Regarding funds of Society, though very low a few weeks ago they are beginning to revive through hard begging. Would welcome any suggestions for stirring up the deeper religious feeling of the people. Relates the tale that the Publicans sent out a strong whip the day before the Woman's Suffrage debate 'to get MPs in that interest to attend and vote against us' wishes Mundella would present his Petition (Sheffield) as she suspects Mr Fowler will never find a convenient day for his Bill. 'What an apathetic leader he is!'
