Written from Liverpool. She has telegraphed to his wife that she could address a meeting in Edinburgh the following week. The same to Miss Wigham but unfortunately in her absence the Secretary replied it was quite impossible owing to too many other engagements. 'I have the hearts of the ladies of Edinburgh and Glasgow but these men paralyse them'.
