Scope and Content

Minutes of the General Committee meetings. Matters discussed include election of officers and committee, names of those present, future meetings, formation and amendment of rules, employment and dismissal of staff, conditions of employment, payment of bills and orders, alterations to property, purchase of property, opening of branches, new members, finances, conferences, reports of sub-committees, establishment of new sub-committees and the general management of the society.

The minutes are manuscript up to August 1910 and thereafter are typescript.

From 14th March 1947, the General Committee is renamed the Management Committee.
