Reciting that Nicholas Waterhouse was seised of a messuage or tenement in Halifax called the Old Hall with its appurtenances (described) and 2 fulling mills in Southowram late in occupation of Edward Lillye and George Stocke and that on 30 Jan. 33 Eliz. (1590/1) he conveyed all his premises in Halifax Southowrom and Northowrom to Robert Waterhouse and John Milner to uses there set out, with proviso for alteration.

Witnessed that (1) limit and declare the above premises to the use of the said Robert Waterhouse and his heirs and covenant to stand seised of the same to such uses only.
