2. John George and Gregory Waterhouse, sons of Robert Waterhouse of Halifax.

Parcels 3 water corn mills in Sowthowrum, 2 of which are erected on Halifax brook and are called Sydall mills and the third is called the New Corn Mill also built on Halifax brook with all lands pertaining thereto in the occupation of the said Robert Waterhouse: also a moiety of several parcels of land (described) in Halifax, Southowram and Skircoat, with liberty to build new mills and to use the waters of Halifax and Shibden brooks.

Covenant for further assurance.

Rent: £4 a year and a silver penny to Sir Henry Sayvile for fixing and binding the dam on Sydall mill with water running through his ground.
