Letters of attorney directed to George Cottingham and James Mills.

Reciting A bond of Sir Arthur Ingram and Thomas Ferrers citizen and cloth worker of London in £1,300 for £675 dated 25 Apr 1623 due to George Rouse and Frances his wife was met; this sum plus £600 [total £1,275], disbursed as rent due to Raphe Heton and Mathew Walker, gentlemen, was paid out by G.C. & J.M.; now if Lord Cranfield at the Exchequer will allow this sum out of the rent usually paid by Sir Arthur for the alum farm well and good - if not G.C. & J.M. will repay to Sir Arthur Ingram what is not allowed, and they will also pay all charges at the Exchequer.
