Scope and Content

1. Sir Arthur Ingram of London.

2. George Low of London, Esquire.

Agreement resulting from the mediation of John Mayle Esquire under six headings:-

I. To account with John Mayle.

II. Sir Arthur to receive 10s. - a ton from Low to pay off the £3,000 forfeit.

III. (1) will pay the £1,400 to the King for six years as covenanted but will take 15s. - of the 40s. - a ton carriage allowance.

IV. (2) shall have Henry Wood's share of the profits which he has just purchased for £1,500.

V. Any disbursements to Sir John Brooke and Thomas Russell must be honoured by or repaid to (2) but (1) will have no responsibility in this.

VI. Both parties will abide by the decisions of John Mayle.
