Scope and Content

9 Banastre Avenue, Cardiff. Draft of a letter to be sent to Linuccia Saba, regarding Morse's research on letters sent from Saba to himself. Two photographs of Saba's inscriptions to Morse are to be attached to the letter; they are located in copies of the Canzoniere – one copy, belonging to the 1948 edition, has been donated from Morse to Cardiff University Library. On the various editions of Saba's works owned by Morse (some with authorial inscriptions and handwritten corrections); on the response to Saba's death in Italian literary magazines and Morse's wish to write a critical essay on Saba.
