Scope and Content

9 Banastre Avenue, Cardiff. Draft of a letter to be sent to Lavinia Mazzucchetti. Morse introduces himself to Mazzucchetti, emphasizing their sharing of a common bond, i.e. their study of Rainer Maria Rilke's work as translators and critics. Morse makes a number of criticisms against some of Mazzucchetti's and Hermann Kesten's statements in relation to the poet Hans Carossa and his commitment to Nazism.
