Scope and Content

3 drafts of a letter to be sent to Lavinia Mazzucchetti. Morse criticizes some statements of Hermann Kesten in relation to German writer Hans Carossa and his commitment to Nazism, which appeared in Kesten's volume of essays Filialen des Parnass. As Kesten mentions Mazzucchetti, Morse asks her to clarify her position on the matter. There follows a transcription of a letter from Lavinia Mazzucchetti to Dr. H. (Carossa?), some handwritten notes, and an envelope with Mazzucchetti's addresses.
