Scope and Content

Letter sent from Flensburger Straße 89, Kiel. Wodtke thanks Morse for sending him worthwhile early works of Rilke. He declines Morse's offer of English books, since his wife is an 'Anglistin' and they already have plenty. He mentions a holiday course at Kiel and a students' retreat on Sylt, both of which he invites Morse to send his students on. An additional piece of paper contains a copy of an unpublished Rilke poem written for Lou Albert-Lasard. It begins: 'Sieh, ich bin nicht...'
