Draft copy of a manuscript letter which refers to the Great Exhibition being held that year. Owen believes that such an event provides an excellent opportunity to lay the foundations on which "the permanent peace of mankind" can be erected. To this end, Owen offers to prepare a number of discourses to deliver to the assembled delegates.
