Letter from Robert Owen to Albert, Prince Consort of Queen Victoria

Scope and Content

Draft copy of a manuscript letter which, as Owen describes in the opening paragraph, is a "work to a considerable extent explanatory of the past and in consideration of the future". Owen proclaims, he is now "impressed to say that the course to pursue, by the ruling powers of all nations and Peoples to secure the permanent happiness of our race is evident to me [Owen]". He continues, explaining the nature of plans which he lays out in 9 points.
