Manuscript letter outlining Owen's social ideas. Owen explains that only by "universal union, charity & love that this great good to man is to be accomplished" and believes that "God through Society forms the character of every one".

Mention is made of a "Panorama" being in place in Oxford and of hoping it will be exhibited before Christmas. Owen recently took Robert Pemberton, author of "The Attributes of the Soul from the Cradle" and "The Happy Colony", to Oxford with him to view the Panorama.
