Photograph album, and corresponding negatives, from John Garstang's excavation of Meroë, covering sites in the north of the Royal City, including sites 97, 255, 297, 740, 897, 920, 939. Also includes images of the Meroë pyramids and the sites of Alem and Hamadab (shrine 1000) Many of the prints in the album are duplicates of those elsewhere in the collection.
