Letter from Robert Cooper to Robert Owen

Scope and Content

In this manuscript letter Cooper refers to a recent visit to Edinburgh by Owen. He writes that the address Owen gave "will not soon be forgotten", and since Owen left the audiences have been better than ever, with the most gratifying aspect being "the ladies returning".

Asks Owen for his opinion of the proceedings of the Special Congress (held at John St Institute, London on the 14 July to discuss the future of Harmony Hall, Hampshire).
