Letter from Robert Cooper to Robert Owen

Scope and Content

In this manuscript letter Cooper expresses disappointment in being being able to meet Owen while he was in London. This despite making several visits to John Street, Adelphi [London] in the hope of doing so.

Discussion turns to Cooper's thoughts on [Patrick] Lloyd Jones and Walter Cooper, describing them as "pure shams", and explains he was unable to carry on any further [with the lectures he gave in the North of England and Scotland] as he was "unable to fight alone".
