In this manuscript letter Cooper gives thanks to Owen for the journal he sent and offers to write articles for future editions. He writes of giving two lectures in Sunderland, remarking that "such has never been seen there before" and tells he is due to deliver a further lecture in Glasgow in the coming week. An additional lecture in Newcastle will allow him to "reply to the Newcastle press".
