Scope and Content

The focus of this series of letters is the Cooke's efforts to promote Owen's beliefs in the Worcester area. He invites Owen to the the city to give lectures on a number of occasions, with Owen visiting at least twice, and tells of his actions in introducing Owen's thoughts and ideas to various groups and individuals.

The last two letters in the series make reference to Cooke being acquainted with Eliza Cook, the author and Chartist poet and infers that Owen would like to contact her.
