Garnett writes to let Lady Vaughan [now married to Mr Russell] know he was honoured by her request and went straight to Mr Noel to let her sister know but found her weeping over the loss of a friend, so he waiting for a better time. She now seems happier after Sir Thomas Vernon's visit yesterday. He updates Lady Vaughan that she seems well and the sadness of her mind does not seem to be affecting her health.
