Scope and Content

Colour painting of a sarcoma in the head of the humerus. Annotations on the back read "Mr Platt 8/5/49 patient's name sarcoma humerus 11/6/42" and "slide made of this drawing for Bradshaw lecture." Although reference is made here to the Bradshaw lecture which Platt gave in 1950 this image does not feature in the published copy of the lecture.

Initialed by the artist at the bottom in the middle.
