Case file for a fatal accident that occurred at Celynen North Colliery on 10 Mar 1975. Includes: correspondence and instructions to counsel on liability and quantum; instructions to counsel; one handwritten and two typescript notes of evidence taken at an inquest held on 15 Apr 1975 at Newport Civic Centre; plan showing the accident site and diagram showing the scene of the accident; a fatal accident report compiled by the National Coal Board, Mining Department, Safety Branch, including witness statements, photographs of the accident site and a drawing of the accident.
